I was born on Good Friday at 23.40pm on 27th March 1964 in Barnet Memorial Hospital North London. Even though it was March, it was snowing
I am the oldest of three. My mother was a tailor/dress designer, who was born in Tipperary Ireland and my father born in London's East End, was an electrician.
I attended Bishop Douglas Comprehensive School in East Finchley and eventually achieved seven 'O-levels', plus an 'A-level' in Art. This led to me being accepted at the London College of Fashion to study Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing. I also studied Shiatsu.
Married 1990-2005, and had two boys. During this time I worked in various industrial industries, from Oil and Gas to Property.
After my marriage I decided I wanted to explore and develop my love of art, and enrolled in the Sir John Cass School of Art. After some very interesting years I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Fine Art.
In 2010 I had my first solo exhibition. Subsequently to this I helped raise funds for the Welsh Guards by donating a painting for auction which raised £4000.
After this I joined the committee for International Animal Rescue and again donated a painting for for auction which raised a further £10,000.
From the success of my first solo exhibition I have been commissioned multiple times for both of original artworks and portraiture.
